• 2012-01    Concept development started after gaining experience in vertical axle wind turbines.
• 2012-05    Prototype test of a 2.3 meter wide model on a trailer behind a car on a racing circuit.
• 2012-07    Patent registration of the concept.
• 2014-03    Climate-KIC program participation started.
• 2014-11     Torque Wind Turbine R&D BV company founded.
• 2014-12    Customers pre-order registration officially started.
• 2015          Further improvements established for even higher output and CFD analyses.
• 2016          Planning for constructing a 3 meter wide, 4 layer, functional prototype for testing
• 2017-08    Patent registration for higher efficiency
• 2018-01    MoU for 400 turbines with 50 kW output
• 2018-09    Patent registration of the concept granted in Europe
